Pastoral Staff & Leaders

Lead Pastor

Lead Pastor

In November of 2017 our Senior Pastor felt a calling on his life to move into a different aspect of vocation and ministry.  We are currently prayerfully on the lookout for our new Pastor.

Youth Ministries

Grant & Amy Brandsen

Grant & Amy, since 2013, have created and led our student ministries, called Illuminate.

Both received excellent foundational ministry and leadership training
during their two years with the Christian outreach, Youth with a Mission (YWAM). Grant & Amy have led team of teens on ministry/mission trips around the world.

It’s been a marvelous thing to watch them invite and build from a 4-6 faithful students to 30-40, blending some with no religious background together with those from families with a strong Christian tradition.

They’ve also begun a servant-leadership subgroup called Ignition.

Here’s the link to the Illuminate page for more information about them and what’s currently on tap for our junior & senior high students, as well as the college/20s crowd.

Prayer Ministries

Roger Bertolini

Roger oversees the set-up of the church each week and also is the primary lead on the church’s various prayer ministries. This includes the preservice prayer meeting that meets at 9 on Sunday mornings, the post service prayer team, admin of the church prayer shield/chain, any prayer associated with outreach, and a form of inner healing prayer known as Freedom Prayer. For more information on each of these just send him an email, and if you want to learn more about Freedom Prayer, here is a link.   Roger is a member of the Freedom Resource board of directors and a traveling lead trainer for Freedom Prayer.

Do you have a prayer request?  Fill out our online form and it will get straight to our team.

Worship Ministry & Sound Tech

Sheri Bertolini

Sheri and husband, Roger, moved to Connecticut in 2014, from Nashville, Tennessee where Sheri led worship and served in music ministry since 1990. Her music history includes everything from touring and concerts, to women’s conferences, to recording her own worship CDs, to scoring an independent film.

Coordinating the “Worship Tribe” for Sunday Vineyard’s worship and sound tech teams, Sheri desires to bring us into a deeper understanding of worship, equipped with tools for expressing honor, adoration, and passion for God — into a lifestyle of worship beyond our corporate gathering on Sundays.

If you have a heart for worship, contact Sheri to learn how you can plug into the team.

Women's Ministries

Eileen Cramer

Eileen Cramer leads our women’s ministry.

Men's Ministry

Don Cramer

Don Cramer leads our men’s ministry.

Children's Ministries

Maria Secki & Arlene Hristov

Maria and Arlene have formed a strong team as captains of our children’s ministry known as KidzChurch (for pre-K to 5th graders). That’s included creating their own customized, multi-sensory curriculum that’s just right for this age group.

Marc Potocsky

Marc, a former rock ’n roll drummer, is one of our regular musicians, but his real passion comes out in the monthly “Oasis” he leads. That’s a stripped-down communion time with God, interspersed with guitar and/or song, Scriptures or prayer.

Catherine Rampone

Catherine is who you can thank for all the making sure we have water, coffee, as well as other comforts on a Sunday morning.

Bryan Connolly

Bryan, one of the the Shoreline Vineyard members with the longest tenure, is our Sunday “announcement guy” (imagine a hybrid of comedic wit and spiritual vitality). He’s also one of our long-time financial trustees and at the core of our business-related tasks.

Michael Orce

Michael Orce has attended Shoreline Vineyard since 2003 and has been serving as a Trustee since 2015.  His experience and leadership in both the business world and church has been a great asset to our fellowship and we are so pleased to have him part of the leadership team.  Michael is currently the Executive Director of a regional law firm.  He and his wife Blandina live in Guilford with their three sons, Carter, Jonathan, and Andrew.

Chris Syvertsen

Chris Syvertsen has been part of various shoreline churches for the past 35 years serving in numerous roles as Youth Leader, Deacon, Treasurer, Elder, Associate Pastor, and most recently Lead Pastor. Chris has been attending Shoreline Vineyard for the past three years and we are pleased to have him join our leadership team in September as a Trustee. Chris is educated as an Engineer and also carries an MBA. He lives in Guilford with his wife Tanya.

Ministry Leaders

Our youngest leaders are just 30 and our oldest are over 60 (with others in between) so that’s a lot of collective energy and wisdom!
